Several sources tonight are reporting that Ron Francis will be named the Seattle franchises first General Manager.
After Dave Tippett and Ken Holland were scooped up in Edmonton it pretty much became anyone’s guess on who would get this gig. That being said, Ron has neither a record of success or even do much as a GM in the NHL. But maybe the slow drafting approach that got him fired in Carolina is exactly the key elements they’re looking for in Seattle!
Either way way we wish Ron luck... Hope you like rain and caffein! It’s not too early to practice your fish toss!
