So he signs for pretty much exactly what he’s worth so why did it even take this long to get the deal done? If the Rangers were attempting to save some money but letting this drag on that was a mistake. But at least they didn’t let it get any closer to his arbitration date.
For now, look for them to trade/ buy out Brendan Smith which we think is more likely then them trading Chris Kreider.
All things considered you can give the Rangers an A++ for their work this season. They’ve been absolutely perfect!
